California is still fighting for the right to ban the sale of certain games to children, and the battle is going to the Supreme Court. Connecticut AG Richard Blumenthal has sent out a press release supporting the law, but his claims about video games and their ratings would be laughable... if he wasn't an elected official.

Connecticut Defends California Game Ban in US Supreme Court

Having read the press release, one could come to the conclusion that Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal has never heard of the ESRB, which was founded by the game industry to self regulate the industry by putting age appropriate ratings on games, as well as descriptions of the game’s more questionable content on the back of the box.
